The creation of a centralised Inflight Services (IFS) team will enable a harmonisation of Inflight (on-board and pre-order) retail & complementary activities and processes across the five TUI airlines and thereby maximise profits by applying best practice to all Inflight operations. The main purpose of this role is to provide centralised business support of all IFS data in relation to Inflight Product and Supply Chain & Delivery providing data management expertise. This data will be used as the basis for commercial decision making on our range, suppliers and supply chain logistics. The role is to be accountable for owning and ensuring the integrity of all internal and external data used for reporting, control and for commercial decision making. This role will provide service related information to the supplier base, and will act as the primary interface to IT and local airline reporting teams, including the effective sharing and reporting of IFS data across all TUI Aviation. What you will be doing As the IFS Data Management Executive you will be accountable for the creation, maintenance and improvement of the IFS data management infrastructure You will be responsible for maintaining Master Product Data (MPD) portal and timely communication of all necessary content to relevant stakeholders. You will capture, analyse and respond to feedback. You will create, own and innovate all Masterdata for IFS, supporting continuous improvement activities through project support, making recommendations as a result of data and analysis You will be responsible for maintaining all data for both the retail and non-retail products within the TUI Inflight range for all markets, included product related data into the onboard POS system, Vector. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including commercial category teams, vendor manager and colleagues across the Business Centre to ensure product and supplier data is cleansed, checked and accurate, and regularly updated as required. Version control is managed, changes are communicated and tracked. Working closely with IT, you will also manage user access to systems, ensuring the appropriate controls are in place, and provide training to users of internal data. This role is key within the IFS structure, the data we maintain is the interface to the system’s used by our 1000’s of cabin crew, our logistics providers, our suppliers and finance, and is critical to ensure an efficient Inflight operation. As we undergo significant innovation in how we manage data across TUI, it is crucial the individual can adapt to use multiple systems, and support implementation and transition of data between them as necessary.
