HR Officer

A global market leader in its own right, this organisation has a rich legacy as a manufacturer of the highest quality products used by virtually every household. Business is excellent which means this company is expanding. We are looking for an HR Officer who will – Assist with recruitment and selection – draft offer letters, prepare employment contracts, Update the HR system with all starters, leavers, salary changes, exit interviews Monitor and record absence as well as administer the appraisal process Support HR Manager during investigations, disciplinary and grievance hearings Co-ordinate induction and probation reviews Monitor and review employees attending Occupational Health Review and update policies, staff handbook and be the first point of contact for all HR queries As you gain experience, you will take on generalist HR duties including employee relations to the point where you will be the full back up for the HR Manager The successful person will be – Part/fully CIPD qualified, Have a good grounding in all areas of HR administration, ideally, with some ER involvement Resourceful and eager to learn new skills, with a desire to take responsibility and be totally confident to deal at all levels. A high level of IT proficiency is essential.
