Planner Intermediate / NI

Your new company Hays have been retained by a rennowed NI Building Contractor to resource an experienced Construction Planner on a full-time and permanent basis. They been successfully operating throughout the UK & Ireland for over 50 years. They have developed a strong reputation for delivering design, build and cost solutions to a variety of clients including those operating in the property, renewable, commercial, pharmaceutical, educational and retail sectors. Due to continued success in being awarded new build contracts this company now requires a Construction Planner to be based in Belfast or Magherafelt. Your new role Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Project Planner will support the company by identifying, controlling and forecasting timescales and resource requirements whilst implementing best practice project planning policy, processed and procedures during the full life cycle of projects from tender through to completion. You will be responsible for accurately identifying and resourcing requirements for projects including labour, plant and materials. You will provide support for all construction planning functions ensuring that issues or irregularities within the programme are highlighted and understood by all. The successful candidate will represent the company at client meetings and assist in the continuous improvement of safety and performance What you’ll need to succeed This is an immediate and permanent vacancy with one of the region’s best known main Construction Contractors. They have placed a very high importance on this role where the successful individual will work within a strong and knowledgeable team and report directly to the Planning Manager.
